Why batch scaling matters
When you test a recipe, you pour 1–3 candles. When you get an Etsy order for 20 or 50, you need to scale quickly and accurately. The ratios must stay exactly the same — fragrance percentage, dye depth, additive amount.
The scaler multiplies every ingredient by the target quantity and converts to useful purchasing units (ounces and pounds of wax, ounces of fragrance oil).
Batch planning tips
- Add 10–15 % to wax to account for coating your pour pot and top-up pours.
- For fragrance oils, the amount in this calculator is exact — do not add buffer.
